The Frame & Construction 

The Sunny Health & Fitness SF-B1805SMART Exercise Bike is built with a durable heavy-duty steel frame, while other protective and cosmetic parts such as the drive-train cover, the console casing, and the stabilizer end caps are made of ABS material.  

It is primarily coated with anti-corrosion grey paint and the seat and handlebar posts and the flywheel have a chrome finish, while the brand name is printed in orange and white colors.  

The bike has a light-commercial construction but it is designed for home use instead. It is rated to support 300 lbs./136 kg maximum user weight capacity.

Simply turn the tension control knob clockwise or counterclockwise to increase or decrease the resistance level.

The elements that make up the resistance system include magnetic brake pads, the tension control knob, and the high inertia heavy flywheel.  

Resistance is generated without friction occurring because the magnetic brake pads release magnetic fields around the flywheel thereby causing a drag that ultimately results in resistance.
